-
Be in the moment with your body, allowing yourself to relax.
-
Bring your attention to the base of your spine. In your mind, imagine that there is a ball of spinning red light encompassing this area of your body. Feel this sensation and the pulsing of this red light as you continue to breathe.
-
Now, move your attention further up your spine to the area a few inches below your belly button. Imagine a warm orange light and feel the sensation moving with your breath.
-
Next, shift your attention a few inches above your belly button. This area can be associated with gut feelings or where we experience butterflies in our stomach. Imagine a soft warm ball of yellow light here. Continue to experience this sensation with your breath.
-
Now, move your attention to the area of your heart. At your heart, you can imagine or feel a warm green ball of light. Feel and connect with this sensation together with your breathing.
-
Next, allow your awareness to travel to your throat. In this area imagine a warm blue ball of light. Experience this sensation for a few moments.
-
Now, bring your awareness to your third eye. This is located in the centre and just above your eyes, in between your eyebrows. Imagine a bright spinning ball of purple. Breath with this experience.
-
Finally, move your attention to the space above the top of your head. Imagine a bright spinning ball of pure white light. This ball of light connects you to the universe and the heavens. As a result, it can bring a deep sense of peace and contentment. Sit with this for a few moments, continuing to gently breathe.
-
When you are ready, focus your attention on your feet. Feel the heaviness of your feet on the ground and the weight of your body on the chair.
