2.6 Million Views, Does Magic Money Mantra Work?

In October 2011, I posted my first video on Youtube. In this video, I chanted a Buddhist Mantra, you might of heard of it;

Nam Myoho Renge Kyo

I actually came across this mantra from my dear aunt, who is a travelling mystic. My original intention was to share this piece to help people draw abundance and prosperity into their lives. At the time, I translated this into a modern day title of; Magic Money Mantra.

To date, I have received 2.6 million views on Youtube for this video. There have been many comments posted, a number of which debate on its religious roots and identification, but many comments are from people sharing their own experiences with this track.

It doesn’t really matter – manifestation is through intention and the belief that it helps to manifest – causes it to manifest and vice versa – we live an energetic universe where our thoughts create our reality! Quite soothing though! – Jennifer

I find the last comment particularly interesting don’t you? I believe that to be true.

There has been so much research and speculation on the subject of manifestation and the law of attraction, that it would warrant a series of blog posts to just introduce it, however if you are interested on the subject, let me know in the comments below!

This comment from Jennifer leads me to wonder whether the mantra itself draws prosperity and abundance, or whether because it has been introduced to the listener with that intention as its title, the listener believes that the mantra will bring them prosperity and abundance, and so the magic truly happens from the listeners belief.

There were also many comments requesting a longer version of this mantra, as the current version was only 4 minutes long, and lets face it… 4 minutes into a meditation, you only just shut off that monkey brain!
